Hi all,

This is véry off-topic, but I wanted to use our multicultural situation to ask for some songs about trams and trains. A friend of mine is celebrating his birthday next week and he is especially crazy about trams. I already found 1 song in Turkish about trains, but if anyone here knows another one in Turkish or in any other language I´d be very grateful! .  (the one I have now is Orhan Hakalmaz - Kara Tren)

Thnx

I love it Canli! If you can look it up for me (and maybe make a rapidshare link?) that would be great! . It´s for a friend of mine and he´s a little older so I think he´ll love these songs. Thnx!

Not necessarily songs, he just likes trams and trains, and I thought it a funny idea to make a cd with songs about it . Thnx!

I fed "tren şarkıları" to google and found some:

Fikret Kızılok - Leylim ley (it has "kara tren" in its lyrics) I have this one

Nazan Öncel - Geceler kara tren

Tarık - Tren (No idea)

Sibel Can - Yalnızlar treni

Soner Arıca - Tren yolları

Vedat Bağlan - Sevgililer treni

Kesme Şeker - Ne zaman gitti tren

And from my CD collection

ELO - Last train to London (video)

Doobie Brothers - Long train running (video)

John Fogerty - Big train from Memphis (video)

etc.
