The bomb yesterday in the south of Turkey that injured 13 policemen and killed the attacker, was indeed a suicide attack. Those were the words of the Turkish minister of Internal Affairs, Besir Atalay, today. He said that the police was persueing a man who let the bomb explode near a police post. The police is investigating of who is responsible for the explosion. The gouverner of Mersin, Huseyin Aksoy, said Kurdisch terrorist are responsible but there are also Islamic and left-wing extremists active in Turkey. So far, no organisation claimed the attack.

All we need now is for them to target tourists. Why cant things be dealt with in a diplomatic manner, nobody deserves to die as a result of a mindless attack.
