Quoting sonunda

is ´geçen gün´ ´every day´ ?

Well, I used translator´s licence, and made it flow in English.  A literal translation is "The day that passes without you is as poison" but that sounds like Shakespeare or Chaucer, not what we´d say today!

Geçmek: to pass

Geçen: passing (also, more usually, means last e.g. geçen cuma last Friday)

geçen gün: passing day, day that passes

Thanks Marion-I had ´geçen´ as ´last´-but I wrongly put last night (I linked it with gece in my head!)
