i am from the philippines to, and it is hard to obtain visa to go to turkey. we can only obtain of a tourist visa, for only 2 weeks...

and with this two weeks vacation, you need to have a letter of invitation from a friend that lives in turkey.

and with that... he has to make sure to bring up a bank account statement, car insurance etc... to ensure that he or she can support you during your stay in turkey.

and i think... you also have to show up some bank statements, car insurance or some sort to show that you can support yourself during your stay in turkey...

i know... a lot of requirements...  unless you are able to provide for all the requirements for that 2 weeks vacation, then you don´t have a problem.

most of the people i know that are going to turkey are for work, or to stay permanently, because they are married to a turkish guy/girl.

some obtain a longer stay in turkey with a tourist visa, because they get married during the span of their two week vacation. which entitles them to apply for a residency visa or something...

long story... anyway. hope i have given you the information you need
