I tried to visit this site http://www.turkishlanguage.co.uk/  I´m sure it´s the one that recommended TLC to me last year.  It has information about Turkey and also information about the Turkish language.  It´s also listed on one og the sticky threads here.  Unfortunately it seems to have disappeared.  Does anyone know what´s happened to it?  When I click on the link it takes me to a domain site.

The site creator moved to New Zealand and has discontinued it for the moment. I think he´s revamping it and it will appear sometime in the future.

Hi,

That website was one of the most known websites on this field. It is a shame it is down now. I hope they will be back. There was a small note a few days ago telling that due to some peoblems they hoped to have the website back again when they move to New Zealand. Maybe they had a problem with the hosting company and they were in the middle of moving to another country so they cound´t fix it.

It´s Manisa Turkish isn´t it?  It´s been gone a couple of weeks now - can´t believe it - it was so useful. {#lang_emotions_sad}.  There was a message there at first but I see it´s gone now.  The message was something like ´it is with regret that we can no longer run Manisa Turkish from this domain but it is hoped that we will be able to start up again in the future´  Something was mentioned about New Zealand as well so maybe the guy (who lived 30 odd years in Manisa) has moved to NZ?  Anyway I hope it comes back soon.

Received by PM from Taz last week

I have just heard from John of Manisa.  He is revamping the site and it will soon be back.  He too is approaching mid 70s, but going strong.
