Hi everyone is Bayramin today in Turkiye or tomorrow???

 I think it is today. Ramazan started on 1st September and the fasting finishes 29 days later = 30th September.

Not in Turkey so could be wrong.

It officially started yesterday afternoon, but i read in the Trukish Daily News that the Bayram has been extended by the Government to 9 days instead of the usual 3½.  The 9 days I think, includes last week and the following weekend.

In Australia, the muslim community believes its tommorow
the 1st October, but we still didnt fast today because turkey and other countries were celebrating bayram today.

It differs in countrys.

I dont see a moon in the sky though{#lang_emotions_unsure}

I asked this morning a few Moroccon and Turkish men when Þeker Bayramý is. All said today, all together. When I said that I heard the Saudi´s told it will be on Wedenesday October 1st, they said no.

Ýts different from country to another,not relevant to Saudi,it depends on the moon,born of the new moon means starting of the new month

Ýf its born today in Türkey,then Bayram is today,if its tomorrow,then bayram is tomorrow

Here in Egypt,its tomorrow

Ps: Ýt seems its also Tuesday on Saudi

According to this Turkish government website http://www.diyanet.gov.tr/english/default.asp it is today.

Here in the UK some will celebrate today and some celebrate tomorrow.  It depends which authority the individual mosques follow.  As far as I´m aware, the sighting of the new moon is determined at Maghrib (sunset).
