Ýstanbul streets see growing number of child workers

There has been a significant decrease in the number of children living on the streets of Ýstanbul, Turkey´s most populous city, but the number of children who take to the streets to work is on the rise, Social Services and Child Protection Agency (SHÇEK) Ýstanbul Directorate head Seyfi Bozçelik has stated.

It´s horrible that children need to work (on the streets) instead of going to school! They need that education so much.

much much easier said than done....

Every city has problems with this, and I don´t know any that managed to solve it successfully. UNFORTUNATELLY.
