Hi,

I was wondering if the gold that they sell in Turkey are certified? If I compare my turkish gold to the gold we find in europe or in the west the color is much more yellow. Is it because its low quality gold or because its a better quality!

I should have asked a jeweler but in case we have a specialist in gold in this forum I took the chance of asking!

Thanks!

If you bought it from Turkey, there should be a tiny stamp on it.. there is written the carat of the gold.. if it is more yellowish, it is more likely to be a higher carat..  Most probably 18.. the ones sold in Europe is mostly 14 and they are a bit silverish yellow color.. you can check it right now, and you will get the proper value as long as you have a stamp on it.

 there are 2.

One is in a circle it is written EKOL 916 22 and the second is not in a circle it is written 22 916

Since it was a gift I can not ask how many carats but I guess it is 22. Right?

Thanks for the answer.
