I have never heard of cell phones interferring with ABS before. Is it a different type of ABS system than we have in our cars then?
It is pretty much accepted that it is safe to use phones on planes and in hospitals now. Maybe some things are best not clarified though - the thought of someone shouting "I AM ON THE PLANE" in the seat behind me, or having to listen to endless "amusing" ringtones while you are laying in your hospital bed, is good enough reason to ban them

I never said it was just Turkish people
I just asked if they have a different ABS system, because I am unaware of it affecting the ABS systems in cars...

dont take it personally dear...
They dont ban completely... but it is a risk to create disturbance signals on the computer system of the cars... They are produced with shields to take the least affect from environment but you know risk is a risk... it is the same with normal cars i guess... but at the end it is your own decision to take the risk...

Ouh ok thanks Sui. As I mentioned earlier, they recently tested to see if phones interfere with the electronics in planes, and found they do not.
Anyway.... it is GOOD to have phone free areas anyway!

But you know they also tested that they can fry your brain with the microvawes of the cell phones
We were kinda calculating this, how many hours you need to fry your brain with cell phone in a course called "Biological System Modelling and Design"

Yeah and I take that part really seriously!!! I have also heard that wireless electronics (including wireless internet) has a similar effect....
I heard recently that even the kinds of phones that are home-based, but cableless, are dangerous to your health. Scientists recently advised that you remove ALL phones from your room at night when sleeping, except the old fashioned cable type
