Would anybody so kind to give me translation of this song?? Please?

Pencere önünde
Arkadaþtan ayrý
Porselen saksýda
Bir süs çiçeði

Evin hanýmý
Her akþamüstü
Su ve güneþ sunar
Entellektüel

Pencere önü çiçeðine
Ne ansýzýn yaðmur ne gökkuþaðý
Ne dipdiri sabah, gözyaþý

Ne þebnem görmüþtür ne kýraðý tanýr
Ama iyi konuþur, kitap gibi
Rastgele çiçeklere þöyle bir bakar
Cansýz cam ardýndan, tül perdelerden

Pencere önü çiçeðine
Ne mecburen güneþ ne karakýþ
Ne dopdolu bahar ürpertisi

Zorlu bir rüzgarla boynu hiç kývrýlmaz
Haylaz çocuklarca hiç koparýlmaz
Gece çökünce açýlýr lambalar
Öteki çiçekler ay ýþýðýndalar

An ornamental plant,
On the window sill,
Away from friends
In a ceramic pot

The lady of the house,
An intellect,
Offers water and the sun

To the plant on the sill
Neither a sudden rain, neither a rainbow
Neither vigorous morning, tears

It has Neither  seen dew nor white frost
But she speaks well, like a book
She anyhow, looks at the plants
Through lifeless glass and net curtains

At the ornamental plant.
Neither compulsory sun, neither severe winter
Neither full of spring  shivers

Its neck never bends with a strong wind
It is never torn away by naughty boys
When the night falls down, lights come on
Other plants are under the moonlight.

This is my try..

But what a beautiful and wonderful song Prym..

Beautiful - and precisely the reason why I don´t keep plants indoors!

what does this song have to with Ecevit? I think you`re confusing Bulent Ortacgil with Bulent Ecevit{#lang_emotions_lol_fast}

Do a little research first.

I googled it, but found nothing regarding Ecevit{#lang_emotions_noway}

Well, it seems you are right. I have an old cassette featuring this song along with others. I always thought this one was written by Ecevit but it seems not this but another song lyrics was by him. My apoligies. I was so sure this was his.
