YALNIZLIĞIM

My Loneliness

Ilık bir su gibidir içimde yalnızlığım,
Yalnızlığım, ruhumda uzak bir ses gibidir.
Her sabah ufuklardan mavi şarkılar gelir,
Ve her sabah ürperir içimde yalnızlığım

Like a warm water inside me, my loneliness,

My loneliness, is like a voice from far in my soul.

Every morning, blue songs come from horizons,

And every morning my loneliness shudders inside me

Güneşim aydan sarı, yarınım dünden zorsa,
Sarsın artık ömrümü tunç kandillerin isi
Üşüyen ellerimden tutmalıydı birisi,
Eğer benim gözlerim onları görmüyorsa.

If my sun is more yellow than the moon, my tomorrow is harder than yesterday,

then let the smoke of bronze lamps wrap my life time

Somebody should have hold cold hands,

If my eyes do not see them.

Bir camın arkasında açılıyor güllerim,
Havuzum pırıl pırıl... yıkar bakışlarımı.
İşler temiz ziyalar suya nakışlarımı;
Ruhumun dünyasından eser tahayyüllerim

My roses are opening behind a glass,

My basin is very bright... ruins my looks.

The lights do my embroideries to the water

Around the world of my soul, my imaginations blow

Rüya rüzgarlarında bir yaprak yalnızlığım
Düşüncem bir neydir ki ürperir perde perde
Belki bu mısralarım esecek gönüllerde
Fakat herkese uzak kalacak,yalnızlığım.

A leaf is my loneliness, in the winds of dream

My thought is a reed flute, that shudders part by part

Maybe these lines of mine will blow in the hearts

Though, to everyone, will be far away, my loneliness.
