Well, since they are technically insects (I AM SURE I WILL CORRECTED IF THEY ARE NOT!!), my first initial instinct is to say....NO, butterflies are hidious! But they do have very pretty wings...so maybe it is butterfly wings that are pretty and not the entire butterfly.

This is such a typical shallow western response! So, butterflies are not good enough for you eh? Your dollars can buy you something more beautiful?
You are brainwashed with your media propaganda, you dont even know a butterfly so don´t talk about what you don´t know ok?

If the butterfly was already dead, then I guess it´s ok. But if you make a habit of killing them, framing them and hanging them on your wall then it´s bed.

We display dead butterflies We have 3 in a glass box, but they were already dead, I picked them as a child from the garden because I didnt want them to be crushed by someones ugly feet.
I dont like butterflies as prints on t-shirts, or as earrings or anything. For some reason that really annoys me. But there are some pretty wings yes
