Anyone care to argue about this?

(The first of Elisabeth´s so called "neutral" topics.)

I googled "ugly butterfly" and found this.  It is certainly no oil painting...

Well, since they are technically insects (I AM SURE I WILL CORRECTED IF THEY ARE NOT!!), my first initial instinct is to say....NO, butterflies are hidious!  But they do have very pretty wings...so maybe it is butterfly wings that are pretty and not the entire butterfly.{#lang_emotions_angel}

This is such a typical shallow western response!  So, butterflies are not good enough for you eh?  Your dollars can buy you something more beautiful?

You are brainwashed with your media propaganda, you dont even know a butterfly so don´t talk about what you don´t know ok?

Yeah yeah so butterflies not good enough for our EU cousins either eh?  This is a product of your greedy capitalism - you want to buy everything so perfect, so beautiful.

I would like to inform you that this butterfly is considered quite a "hottie" among its friends!

I go to a flower show annually and they were selling butterflies pressed in glass to hang on your wall.  Do you find this cruel?{#lang_emotions_unsure}  How do you feel about people displaying these dead butterflies as artwork, should they be banned?

We display dead butterflies We have 3 in a glass box, but they were already dead, I picked them as a child from the garden because I didnt want them to be crushed by someones ugly feet.

I dont like butterflies as prints on t-shirts, or as earrings or anything. For some reason that really annoys me. But there are some pretty wings yes
