Her classes on Sufism were always well attended, and one of her courses metamorphosed into her most famous book, Mystical Dimensions of Islam. She was also a much sought-after lecturer, and her style of delivery was famous: she would clasp her purse with both hands, shut her eyes, and speak for exactly the amount of time allotted to her. She maintained that she could lecture without a manuscript in German, English and Turkish, or with a manuscript (and open eyes) in French, Arabic, Persian and Urdu.

some basic but mostly ignored facts about Rumi

1- Unlike most people argue, he wasn`t a Turk but Iranian

2- He wrote pornographic stories

3- He is overrated as a result of the overseas propaganda of Feto and his donations to some crappy universities like georgetown.

4- He is used as a tool by the Turkish government to cover up the real Turkish thinkers like Haci Bektas Veli and Seyh Bedrettin who were not Sunnis but Alevis.

Congratulations, you´ve outwitted millions of Muslims and thousands of Christians who thought in vain that there was something special in that guy...

It´s a shame there weren´t more people like him to continue his teachings.  Maybe his teachings would have had a huge impact on people´s spirtuality and the world today would be more at peace.  Much respect goes out to him.

{#lang_emotions_laugh_at}the pornographic story of a woman who makes a donkey screw herself... is this what you call teaching? That`s exactly what he wrote in his book mesnevi.

"Screw"?

they mean screw like - have sex.

its not the nicest way to say it but some people  might say - i screwed her last night ( as in a i had sex with her last night)

my tip -don´t use it the women will not be pleased and i would have no respect for a man who said that about me

Well, I know the meaning of the word. I just wanted to draw his/her attention to the fact that he is accusing Rumi of using pornographic language but he sees nothing wrong with resorting to  the porn jargon himself/herself.

If he/she were sincere in his/her criticism she would probably use more polite words to describe it.

Celaleddin claims mesnevi is the essence of Quran and inspiration from Allah, in other words these perverted stories in mesnevi are the words of Allah, he says "we took the essence of Quran and threw the rest in front of the dogs" and some muslims call this lunatic Mevlana, what an ignorance...
