How long did it take you to learn and speak Turkish properly?
It took me nearly 3 years to be able to communicate for me but to excel it, I needed to read lots of books/watching movies/a uni education/joining political debates etc. And that took more than 20 years..

I have been with my husband for a long time now...still don´t speak Turkish...I think I just like the food.

I never got those messages! Maybe I did something wrong? Or perhaps I got the only Turkish husband who speaks English and doesn´t write love letters!

That´s an open ended question - as I can´t (yet) speak Turkish properly.........
And I don´t seem to be making any progress recently
