Is this an over-reaction, or indeed, the darkest chapter in our island´s history? I remember when we had a day off from school to march against the invasion of Iraq, together with millions of other Brits, through London, hearing activist (and Labour MP for Hampstead) Glenda Jackson describe the coming invasion as the first time in a thousand years, that Great Britain had illegally invaded sovereign territory"
I too, joined that march and remember the deepest feeling of disgust when our protests were ignored.
Ãt didnt take much attention it seems on the time,but in an attempt to justify the war by many funny reasons
à believe its important to point out its not justified by the ones who are part of it too.
