Tam, I seriously wonder if you have any joy in your life or if you are just one of those bitter, cranky souls who goes around with a twitchy ass and frown permanently pasted on your face.  {#lang_emotions_neutral}

We´ve been to Disneyworld a couple of times. I was actually not that keen to go the first time but the family persuaded me and I absolutely loved it! My husband and I went on our own another time but he is boring and doesn´t like the rides - so I did them on my own Since then we have done Disney for Adults - it´s called Las Vegas!!  lol

I hate Disneyland! I used to live in Florida, so I went there once out of curiosity, then every single time somebody was visiting me (it´s nice to have friends in FL when it´s bitter winter in Midwest) they made me go there, as it was the one tourist attraction that people wanted to see. Ugh. Disneyland is not actually one park, it´s a cluster of several - Epcot, MGM, Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom - I think Epcot is the one most adult-friendly - it actually has quite a few interesting exhibits and performances - particularly the ones from different countries. Anyway, Disneyland, in my opinion, is overpriced, overcrowded, there are humongous lines to all rides (standing in line for an hour an a half together with whining kids to hear midgets sing "It´s a Small World" is not all that fun, regardless of how drunk you are), and it´s kitsch, kitsch, kitsch. I much rather preferred to go to the Kennedy Space Center or even to Busch Gardens. Even Universal Studios I can enjoy. But if I never set my foot in Disneyland again, I don´t think I´ll loose any sleep over it.

lol point taken.

The midgets I was referring to are actually dolls, so maybe I should have said "little dolls"

Gosh, I had nightmares for days after that ride {#lang_emotions_scared}

I have a new found love for "little people"..now that I´m addicted to "Little People Big World."{#lang_emotions_bigsmile}

What gave me nightmares was a ride there that you road through a haunted house.  Not sure if they still have it.  But half way through the ride a ghost image was sitting next to you. {#lang_emotions_scared}

To be honest I was encompassing everything under ´Disneyworld´ when it was actually the Universal Parks I really liked + Busch Gardens.  We did one Halloween Night at Universal and it was well worth seeing.  Best Disney was definitely Epcot and Blizzard Beach   - However, been there and done that now and don´t really need to go again.  I found it hard to believe how often some people have been!  And that ´It´s a small world´ thing - quite weird I thought {#lang_emotions_scared}-

You should see "Death at a Funeral" then lol

I know which ride you mean! The ghost image was in the mirror, wasn´t it? That was pretty cool. Last time I was there, which was a few years, they still had it. Well ok, I admit, I had some fun at Disney. But I still hate it! lol

So where was the ghost one? Universal or Disney? It all blends together after a while. I´m with you on Epcot, it was most interesting for me too.

It was Disney´s ´Haunted Mansion´ - they made a film ´based´ on the ride starring Eddie Murphy.  Actually that ride was quite good fun.  But I like the thrill rides better than the themed ones

Personally, I am not a big Disneyworld fan but I love Sea World in Tampa Bay (the one in San Antonio, TX is nice too) and Parrot Jungle in Miami....Great places if you love animals.

lol If I´m going to pay to see the animals, they´d better have some tricks to show! {#lang_emotions_satisfied_nod} (j/k)

Speaking of Sea World though, was it there that the Killer Whale attacked the trainer? Twice? I´ve heard they call him the Serial Killer Whale now {#lang_emotions_lol}
