Polls show Americans strongly backing Israel in Gaza op

Two new polls show that Americans strongly back Israel over Hamas in the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

A McClatchy/Ipsos poll found that 44 percent of Americans support Israel´s use of force, in comparison to 18% who think Hamas´s use of force is appropriate. And 57% think the latter is using excessive force - something only 36% believe Israel to be doing.

The poll also found that more Americans now oppose rather than support creating a Palestinian state, with 45% saying the US shouldn´t favor one, versus 31% who said it should and 24% who didn´t know.

Thanks for sharing this link.

Now i understand why some people on this forum defend Israel fervently.

They must be the PR agents the movie talked about and they are just doing their job.

No one can justify israeli attacks on civilians  unless he is working with them or he is cruel, ruthless and violent in nature!

it is sad that you all bear so much hatred in your hearts, that you live with a hope of revenge and a bloodshed. you are like bulls who gets excited at the color of blood or sharks who follows the taste of blood drop.

Yes, absolutely. It is wrong to take the conclusion that Americans are ruthless, cruel people for supporting Israel. They are NOT. They would NEVER support Israel if they had the facts presented to them truthfully.

Yeah good observations. It´s not their fault they don´t know the facts when they have tv stations like Fox who are obviously subjective and selective in the news they present
