It´s not really a dream that cannot be accomplished. You just need to save some money and time. Why don´t you visit there this summer forexample?

Compared to other places, Turkey is a destination that is somehow affordable.

I know my parents took  a package Beirut-Istanbul for 7 nights to visit istanbul and princes islands and Bursa, with a stay in a 3 stars hotel in Taksim square for only $1000 ~ 800 € per person. That also includes health insurance during the stay.

They loved the place &  the language. People were friendly, the guide was extremely helpful, food was good (they said the lebanese was a little bit better, apparently we inherited the recipes from the ottoman era and improved it a little bit at least that is what they thought )

The city is not handicapped friendly; for someone on a wheelchair , it wasnt quite easy to move around in all places, however people were very kind and offered help to carry the wheelchair.

It is worth saving money and go visit. I will do that next summer hopefully.
