I am thinking about going to Istanbul and Bodrum this summer, but I would like to know a bit more about it from someone with experience. Any help here? Thanks!

If you are going to Ãstanbul as a tourist, this previous post may help.

I have also stayed in Bodrum last year. There is a booklet with general tourist information distributed by this foundation.

Hope this helps.

You could start with reading the many topics in the forum ´Travel to Turkey´, or the several essays about Istanbul (left hand side under ´Discover Turkey´.

you will love both places. Very different but then again not that different from each other. Bodrum is very hot and very busy in the summer, but you can find quieter places to visit in the area. Enjoy your trip
