I can´t believe you can´t ask your husband ´for fear of looking stupid´ .

Well why not ask your husband BEFORE you get some then?

well, the little ones you can see in men´s hands are only for their carisma haha

they think they look manly when they shake them in their hands.

even making some professional actions

but intellectually it is found stupid and rude.

girls don´t like to see them shaking it. and in formal places it is never tolerated.

and...to your question, as we don´t even can bear the men using them,

we girls would never like to use them as well.

it is rude! never try having one... or you will look "manly"

the bigger ones have 99 pieces and they are only used to count Allah´s names after praying (namaz).

and both men and women can use it, but only in mosques or at homes after namaz.

they are not used other times..

ha ha

Here is some examples of how tesbih is used..

addition:

an easy way of making hand made tesbihs:

-Buy some green olives with stone..

-Eat exactly 33+4 of them

-Find a concrete floor and rub the pointy heads

-then find a long needle;make it hot and push through the olive stones..

-warnish them and use a fishing line for the string..
