Because I have already called them for many times - of course they say I need to get visa and wait for one month without my passport here in Latvia to get it I just hoped there is some other possibility but it seems there isnt

Turkish residents need to obtain visas first, to visit almost anywhere in the world.
It is time Turkia sets equally fussy visa requirements to reciprocate. 
Sad but true.
The Turkish government could do that. I´m only afraid it will cost them billions because then lots of tourists (= cash!!!) won´t come anymore.

....if they see the way the prices have gone up in the bars round here this year, they won´t be back again anyway!

I don´t think that will be a big problem. When they´re drunk enough they don´t have got a clue about prices anyway....

Maybe later  ...and in fact ,I guess, the paper work for marriage would be much more pressing than for getting visa

Ok, thanx for everyone who tried to help  ...But it seems the only way out is to stay now in Latvia and get that visa, and only then to go to turkey ...sad but true...
