Painful video, I wonder why they torture the foxes and then skin them while still alive, and let them suffering from pain after being skinned.

Do humanity need fur that much, so they torture millions of foxes ?

Their pockets need the fur. Don´t they have merciful way to get it without torturing innocent animals?

I went fishing over the weekend and caught 2 big catfish.  Did the ritual, had my picture taken but then the dock owner, mind you a female said you must hit the fish with a hammer and knock it out before cleaning them.ScaredCatching a fish is one thing but hitting it over the head with a hammer, sounded so barbaric.Puking  She went on to explain that it was more cruel to clean the fish while they were still alive rather than putting them to sleep.  It did make sense, but still I couldn´t bring myself to do it.Sad

I am not an animal advocate, however I don´t like to see people abusing them.  For the record, I´m not into fur coats or minks.  It´s actually a little appauling to me.  I believe if your going to kill an animal for food is one thing, but just to get it´s fur is disgusting.

You can wait it to die and then clean it

That´s condemning the poor thing to a rather horrible lingering death. It´s much kinder to kill it as quickly as possible.

Personally, I prefer to stick the point of a knife between the fish´s eyes and push it into the brain. The fish writhes for a few seconds, then goes limp. It´s not a pretty thing to do but there is no way to make killing a warm and fuzzy activity. A quick and, if possible, painless death is the best you can do.

I wonder what HM Queen of England will have to say about it.

I forwarded to her a copy of the video showing Canadian seal hunters at work. Wink

No wonder, monkeys are not animals as they look like humans in behaviour.
