I am in a state of shock!

I would expect him to at least outlive me knowing he invested heavily on his health. The press even carried news about how he slept in a glass chamber breathing oxygen rich air.

He was a truly gifted guy from a musical point of view, an icon from our childhood days. His choices carried him to unprecedented heights. Nevertheless, he also raised a lot of question marks in people´s minds about his personality.

His death is the last nail in the coffin of the 80´s musical spirit.

Death is a big tragedy. May he rest in peace.

I am so sad to hear that Michael has died....Cry He was just getting ready to do a come back tour.  Even though he was quite odd, considering he led a bad childhood with an abusive father...He touched my life in so many ways..I remember doing a talent show in grade school to his hit PYT..Oh and I can´t forget when MTV first viewed his video Thriller, I was glued to the tv.  Yes, I will admit he inspired me to buy a pair of black parachute pants..hahaha.  Oh the memories it takes me back to.

Thank you Michael for all the great memories you brought to my childhood.Flowers

He was such an odd fellow, part of me thinks this is all some other weird stunt.  Perhaps he and Elvis are enjoying a drink together on some island paradise!

Anyway, I grew up with his music.  Watching his decent into financial and legal ruin was sad and painful for us.  I have very mixed feelings about him now.  I guess I can just say I am very sorry for his children and family.

I thought he was a great entertainer...but as a person not so much.  If you think about it, his lifestyle and mental condition helped contribute to his death.   So I wasn´t shocked initially when I heard the news he died.  I´m a little taken back that our Congress actually took a moment of silence for his death...You crazy? which is just a bit crazy.  However, as an artist he did have an influence on me growing up, in which I will never forget.

Michael Jackson was  a rare gifted artist who shared his gift with all of us.

We Are the World

There comes a time
When we head a certain call
When the world must come together as one
There are people dying
And it´s time to lend a hand to life
The greatest gift of all

We can´t go on
Pretneding day by day
That someone, somewhere will soon make a change
We are all a part of
God´s great big family
And the truth, you know love is all we need

[Chorus]
We are the world
We are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
So let´s start giving
There´s a choice we´re making
We´re saving our own lives
It´s true we´ll make a better day
Just you and me

Send them your heart
So they´ll know that someone cares
And their lives will be stronger and free
As God has shown us by turning stone to bread
So we all must lend a helping hand

[Chorus]
We are the world
We are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
So let´s start giving
There´s a choice we´re making
We´re saving our own lives
It´s true we´ll make a better day
Just you and me

When you´re down and out
There seems no hope at all
But if you just believe
There´s no way we can fall
Well, well, well, well, let us realize
That a change will only come
When we stand together as one

[Chorus]
We are the world
We are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
So let´s start giving
There´s a choice we´re making
We´re saving our own lives
It´s true we´ll make a better day
Just you and me

Rest in Peace Michael

Thankyou for your gifts
