But when thehandsom wrote the column he probably knew that others would want to comment, so why did he disable the comments and not allow people to reply in the proper place?
thehandsom probably knew who would comment what on his column and maybe he just wanted to spare you the trouble.
once again -- that is the nature of our columns -- columnists post their articles and they may choose to have comments or not. if any of you want to be serious columnists, you will have the same option.

I haven´t seen too many comments on thehandsome´s post..for those of you who are complaining about not being able to comment. All I see is many complaints...so where are your comments to his post? It´s quite easy to start a topic and quote the person. How about the topic "Follow TheJanissary on a Tour of the Real Turkey" .

I think you hit the nail right on the head here teaschip - the question is ´are they complaining about not being able to comment or commenting about not being able to complain´??

That is why I posted the comment in this thread; I would have posted with the article had the option been there.

Off ya, if he wanted compliments, he´d have enabled comments and then deleted negative ones. It´s his right to choose whether or not he wants others to comment, isn´t it? Like it was said, you may copy his article and comment on it in the forum. I suppose he wanted to avoid that "You cannot insult Ataturk" constructive remarks . Nowhere does it say you cannot criticise Handsom´s article, do it here is you please...
