merhaba ,i started to learn turkish 4 months ago and its very interesting..i listen to turkish music and i really need a translation for this song ...Her Rüyada şiir gibi gözlerin
Beni yakar küllerini savurur
Gece Gündüz uyanmadan beklerim
Emanettir kokun bir gülde durur
Bitmeden bu rüya ölsem
Yüreğim avuçlarında
Uyandırmasa Yok olup bitsem dudaklarında
Getireceğim inan Güneşi akşamlarına
Uyandırmasa Asılı kalsam gözyaşlarında...

i´m sorry for that but really love this song and need to understand

With the help of this post,

lyrics translation

this was my attempt (which is slightly different)

Her rüyada şiir gibi gözlerin

Your eyes are like a poem in every dream

Beni yakar küllerimi savurur

I burn, scatter my ashes

Gece gündüz uyanmadan beklerim

I wait (for you) night and day without sleep

Emanettir kokun bir gülde durur

Your scent lingers, entrusted in a rose

Bitmeden bu rüya ölsem

If I die from this everlasting dream

Yüreğim avuçlarında

My heart is in your grasp

Uyandırmasan yok olup

If you didn’t wake me up with your absence  (not sure??)

Bitsem dudaklarında

If I finish on your lips

Getireceğim inan güneşi akşamlarına

Believe me, I will bring the sun to your evenings

Uyandırmasan asılı kalsam göz yaşlarında

If you didn’t wake me up, if I stay hanging on your tears.

P.S: In Turkey or Turkish, we are not saying "REMERHABA" . We are saying "Tekrar Merhaba".

 Hi Henry, as a true believer that my Turkish got better when my secretary corrected it, I hope you don´t mind me making a couple of points.

You have to translate these two lines together, as the thing that is making me burn and my ashes scattered is "gözlerin" - your eyes.

Her rüyada şiir gibi gözlerin Beni yakar küllerimi savurur

Your eyes, like a poem in every dream, burn me and scatter my ashes.

Gece gündüz uyanmadan beklerim

I wait (for you) night and day without sleep

 Uyumak = to sleep

Uyanmak = to wake up

Uyumadan = without sleeping

Uyanmadan = without waking up

I wait (for you) without waking up day and night

(In the first too lines he is in a dream, so doesn´t wake up from this dream)

Bitmeden bu rüya ölsem

If I die from this everlasting dream

 this is kind of poetic Turkish ... putting the words in the more normal order:

Bu rüya bitmeden ölsem

i.e.

If I die before this dream ends
