still in menopausal mode?
I find this comment very discriminatory. It´s not funny and I am extremely offended by it. I know you probably don´t care how insulting this is and maybe in your view, you feel GG deserved it, but teasing a woman about menopause (whether she is going thru it or not) is like teasing a man about erectile disfunction (whether he has it or not). I don´t think we want to go there. This just isn´t cool or gentlemanly.

I agree. This is a very inconsiderate joke (in case it is one)...

it`s maybe because gg prefers to argue on a personal level. she definitely deserves that.

Well even if she does (which is not in my view) it shows your childiness to ´repay´ her.

It is typical of tami to want to deflect any questions on his motives by "insulting" the women who question him.
I am not, however offended or insulted by the routine menopausal comments he tosses my way. I am sure this is a great disappointment to him since he clearly thinks every woman should cringe at the mere mention of the word. Menopause is nothing to feel shame for or embarrassment over. It is a natural stage in every womans life...........so long as she is lucky enough to live that long.
If tami wants to concern himself so much with my life stage that he comments on it every chance he gets...so be it. I am not yet menopausal but when it comes......I am hoping that the hot flashes will finally be a relief to my heating bills because I am ALWAYS cold!!!!

I hear what you are saying GG and I agree with you.....but it really chaps me when men blame our "hormones" for everything from our moods to our speaking up about issues. It just proves how uninformed some people are about women in general.

Leave the words ´about women´ and you´re even closer to the truth.

It is up to mothers of young boys to educate them on this subject. When you get someone tami´s age it is already a lost cause. We can speak about it til we ARE actually menopausal and he still won´t have a clue....it clearly wasn´t engrained in him. He thinks he is hitting low and that is all he is concerned with.

Give the boy a break, he apparently heard that it is a tragedy to every woman. If that is his experience then I can only feel sorry for him or his mom. Actually, I kind of wish I was already past menopause. A few things less to worry about
Tami, I am not menopausal yet but I still agree with GG. What can my condition be? It´s not PMS, it´s too late for post-natal hormonal bomb...any chance you can enlighten me?

you admit that you`re not normal at last? I`m not sure about what`s wrong with you. you better see a psychologist.
