why dont you check out the thread about the muslim man whose house got bombed by christian nazis in california? have you ever heard of it? google it and see if you can get anything from a christian news site.

and I think by that Turkish citizen planning an attack in Germany or whatever it is, you mean this

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,538767,00.html

foxnews is the most christian news channel I know. Are you still sure that the christian media didn`t report it? google it.

and if it`s all about locality, why do all the christian news channels report a Turk`s attacking a christian missionary?

I know what the problem is!!! You watch Christian news too much! No wonder you feel so frustrated!

I don´t have all the answers for you Tami, maybe the media reports whatever they feel is relevant or whatever they feel will "sell". Compared with the media in Europe for example, American media definitely report less of the important news and I don´t think it´s because they don´t want to, I think it´s because people generally (not everybody of course, but many) don´t care all that much about what happens "across the pond" or in the world generally. It´s sad, but what can you do. Force people to care and want to know?

why can`t you admit that what is "relevant" to the christian media is the crimes of muslims, and what is unrelevant is the crimes of christians?

I think I proved that the hypocrisy of christian media has nothing to do with locality but you`re still talking about "what happens accross the pond".

is california considered "accross the pond" to the American christians?

Just like what´s relevant to Muslims, is the crimes of Christians and what´s irrelevant is the crimes of Muslims.  It works both ways.

Again, you might want to stay away from Christian media if you want a more objective news reporting. Otherwise, you opinion is as biased as their reporting.

And you´d have to ask the Christians about what´s relevant to them.

you took a guess but unfortunately got it wrong. if you think what`s relevant to muslims is the crimes of christians google that news about nazis` painting slogans on a Turkish association building and see if you can get anything from a Turkish news site or any other major news sites of muslim countries.

google the news about the muslim man who got burnt alive in california by christian nazis, and see if you get anything except the news of cair.

What makes you think this is major enough news to be discussed anywhere other than the Netherlands? The only reason it´s even remotely of interest to you is because you are Turkish. If it was about hate crimes against the Koreans for example, you wouldn´t give it a minute of your time.

And I don´t have to google anything. I can only see the choice of the articles that you post to see what is relevant and what isn´t.

right this is nothing major. christian nazis bombing a muslim man`s house and burning him alive to death is nothing major either. what is major is a Turk`s attacking a christian missionary. now that`s what I would call major news.

and how do you know I wouldn`t care if there were hate crimes against Koreans? I care about the attacks towards the Gypsies in England and the other European countries for example, and Gypsies are neither Turks or muslims.

oh yeah, those christian nazis are just a bunch of freaks and they don`t reperesent anyone but all the Moroccons/Turks/Nigerians/Somalians are criminals who say "we are not dutch, we spit on your country".  and you accuse me of calling you all nazis? go figure.

Are you really so dumb that you can´t read? I never ever said that ALL Moroccons/Turks/Nigerians/Somalians are criminals because I KNOW there are not and I will fight everyone who claims they are. I said that a lot of the criminal activitities were done by people from these groups - if you are so great in googling, try it out: Rotterdam+Moroccans, you´ll be surprised. I said that THOSE people, who committed the crimes said they spit on my country and its habits, I never said that all immigrants do that because - again - I KNOW they don´t. But whatever I say or explain, you are so enormously bigheaded that you won´t WANT to see there are problems in (Western) Europe. Partly because WE are not always nice, I´ll admit that instantly but also partly because groups of immigrants refuse to adapt to habits and the culture here. According to you all immigrants (especially Muslims) are angels, who are treated badly and severely discriminated by all those awful European nazi´s. Well, if you think so, so be it but don´t expect anyone to take you seriously.

Well, I guess we have a different definition of what major news is. I agree that what happened in California is tragic and should be condemned and the guilty prosecuted, as should be the attack in the Netherlands, but I don´t think it´s major news except to those involved and the local community. I don´t think the attack on the missionary is major news either. I condemn such actions on principle and I sympathize with the victims, but I don´t think it´s something the whole world should be obliged to hear about just so you don´t accuse them of being nazis.

Well, it´s a good thing you care about the Gypsies. Hopefully you´ll start caring about people in general one day, without regard for their ethinicity or religion.
