.....nobody should earn that much for kicking a ball round a field - it´s a god-given talent and I think all footballers should donate at least 50% of their huge salaries to good causes (possibly religious ones)!!  (and Shrek should learn that apple sauce traditionally goes with pork not turkey )

I was asking thehandsom if he could earn that much playing football, not that I agreed with it!

But you have to give credit where credit is due, he found his way into premier league football by working through from the ranks from the age of 10 to get there.

btw, thanks for answering for thehandsom............... again Big smile

But roast potato bit was right at least..

When I came to the UK someone told me that apple sauce  is used as salad dressing..It is really delicious with salads..

Sorry - I wasn´t aware it was a private forum discussion between the two of you.  I thought Si++ was the original poster Unsure

Oh - and although I ´could care less´ what you think of my posts, I would like to know what you mean by  ´again´?  Do please quote me the last post where I´ve ´´answered for thehandsom´ because I certainly can´t find anything in my last 50 or so posts where I have (and YES I was sad enough to check because I really couldn´t remember any) .

What do you mean? Is he illiterate or moron or?Confused

Anyway, I was pointing out to another instance of notorious example of great British sense of humour when it comes to a sportive encounter with some team from Turky.

I have never noticed this actually - as  Brit who watches A LOT of football, I would say that Turkish and Spanish teams are pretty much respected and always cause fear when they are opponents!

Apperantly he doesn´t think so. Maybe he watched Liverpool´s last year 7-0 CL victory against the same team.

Well he may be a good footballer but he is definitely not the brightest button in the box - a product of our wonderful education system (!).  He probably didn´t even know that Beþiktaþ was in Turkey, or where Turkey is....or even where the UK is! lollollol

Do you know he never sings the National Anthem at matches and when asked why, replied "because I dunno the words" lol

I have been saying very  similar thing for a long time..

I agree with her..

That is why I believe the ideas such as  ´terrorism only/we dont have a kurdish problem/foreign powers blah blah´  will ultimately bring seperation..

If you dont implement a half way decent democracy where they can live as kurds with us, they will ask for separation..

But thanks god..

Now every body  realizes that we have indeed a KURDISH PROBLEM and it was caused by our own mistakes..

If only what "açýlým" means truly in this context were clear. I think there is no end to the demands to be made using this magic word and I think we are heading for separation as she finally disclose the Kurds´ real intention.
