He is both..

It was directed to LIR.

But anyway, thanks for your showing us your urge to declare him both moron and illiterate. What else?

Anyway, I was pointing out to another instance of notorious example of great British sense of humour when it comes to a sportive encounter with some team from Turky.

I have never noticed this actually - as  Brit who watches A LOT of football, I would say that Turkish and Spanish teams are pretty much respected and always cause fear when they are opponents!

Apperantly he doesn´t think so. Maybe he watched Liverpool´s last year 7-0 CL victory against the same team.

Well he may be a good footballer but he is definitely not the brightest button in the box - a product of our wonderful education system (!).  He probably didn´t even know that Beþiktaþ was in Turkey, or where Turkey is....or even where the UK is! lollollol

Do you know he never sings the National Anthem at matches and when asked why, replied "because I dunno the words" lol

"Turkey I like Turkey really nice with stuffing apple sauce & roasted potatoes"

Wayne Rooney

(After the CL draw he wrote on his page on twitter. Beþiktaþ of Turky and MU of UK are in the same group)

I googled the picture of this guy and I have to say he looks like those hillbilies hanging out in the junkyard near the grossery store I shop at. <img src='/static/images/smileys//lol.gif' alt='lol'> (fast) It`s unbelievable idiots like this earn millions of dollars a year.

is that the reason why the British chant "I would rather be a Paki than a Turk" at  football games? Big smile
