Uçurum-Edip Cansever

Bir agaç sürüsünün üstünden

Çok agaçli bir agaç sürüsünün üstünden

Kesilmis limon dilimleri gibi düsüyor günes

Votka bardagimin içine

Benim olmayan bir sevinç duyuyorum.

Kesiyorum durdugumuz yeri ortasindan

Ey görünüs! seni bir yerinden hiç anlamiyorum

Dibimde degil ayaklarimin, damarlarinda

Derinligini orda tutan, orda harcayan

Uçsuz bucaksiz bir uçurum.

Zamanla degil, bir yerde

Benim olmayan bir seyle yaslaniyorum

Geçiyorum ilk seklimi tüketerekten

Agir agir yanan bir tugla harmanini

Billurdan sarkaçlariyla.

Kalbim, sersemligim benim..

==============================

Abyss

From over the cloud of trees,

From over the cloud of many trees

The sun drops into my vodka glass

Like some cut lemon quarters

I feel an eerie joy which does not belong to me

I am cutting the place where we are, from the middle.

The sight!! I do not understand it.

An abyss with no end

Not at the bottom  but

The depth it holds and consumes is in the veins of my feet

Some where,( time is not important)

I am leaning against an object with something that is not mine

I am passing a slow burning brick plant

with its crystal pendulums

while consuming the original me

My heart, my craziness..

My try, as usual..
