Yes the UK  is (or it was) lol

I dont know what they are going to charge her with but I guess, it is a kind of message to say that ´THEY ARE OUR ORPHANS, WE DO WHAT EVER WE LIKE WITH THEM´

Mind you..No body who critisized the Duchess, said anything about the conditions  of those kids..

Because they dont care..

I guess you mean, the Turkish authorities that critisised the Duchess did not say anything about the conditions?

I think at the time, they did try and make out it was a faked film.  The worst conditions were of those in Romania, where disabled children had been abandoned, ill treated and made to live in intolerable conditions.

I wonder when this was... cause I know of an investigation from maybe 20 years ago about abandoned orphans in Romanian orphanages.. so I´m wondering if anything has improved since then. They noticed that children who were deprived of affection had a high mortality rate..

I think these types of programmes do not do very much generically but they might change the fates of those individual cases which itself a kind of success...

At least those particular kids will have better conditions , in my view...
