Haha, thats ok, i didnt ask you why you gave that answer.

I posted at the same time with you and my guess of the translation was also  ´expansion´

but because of not being 100% sure i put the question mark Big smile

Thanks guys. However I am still not sure which is better?

From the dictionary

Açýlmak means one of these:

1- to be opened

2- to be discovered

3- to be disclosed

4- to become more spacious

5- to be amused

6- to be refreshed

7- to escape from boredom

8- to recover from faintness etc.

9- to clear (of weather)

10- to become vacant (of a post)

11- to be cleaned

12- to open out

13- to develop

14- to throw off restraint

15- to become more easy in manner

16- to be morally corrupted

17- to draw away from

18- to shun

19- to go far out

For example, when you say "Kürt açýlýmý" it may mean:

16- to draw away from Kurds

or

3- Thing in a pack to be disclosed for Kurds

etc, etc.

Very ambigous. It´s not clera what it is meant by saying "Kürt açýlýmý".

I would go with ´development´ - I think that would fit best in the two cases you quoted.

I think Kürt açýlýmý can also be

Kurdish initiatives (for ideas to try to solve the Kurdish problems in Turkey), or

Kurdish developments (to try to explain what is currently happening with the the Kurdish people.)
