Dursun Zaman - Let the Time Stop

Her sabah doğan güneş bir sabah doğmaz oldu,
Elleri ellerinden kayıp giden yıldız oldu,
Gülünce ışık saçan o gözler yaşla doldu,
Ağlama duymaz/dönmez artık bir varmış, bir yok oldu,
Giderken bıraktığı bütün renkler siyah oldu,
Üzülme, anla artık, belki de huzur buldu.

Dursun zaman, dursun diyorsun da
Oyun değil ki yaşamak,
Sen inanmasan da bir son var anla,
Herkese inat.

Dursun zaman, dursun diyorsun da
Oyun değil ki yaşamak,
Sen inanmasan da bu son var anla,
Herkese inat.

Duysun seni, dönsün diyorsun da,
Oyun değil ki yaşamak,
Yok bir çaren anla,
Sakın uyanma yıllara inat.

Translation:

The sun which rose everyday didn´t rise one day,

Whose hands left your hands became a star.

These eyes which beam are with tears,

Don´t cry, it doesn´t hear you/ doesn´t turn back, it became a tale,

All the colors it left turned into black,

Don´t be said, see, maybe it found peace.

Stop, let the time stop, you say,

But life is not a game,

Even if you don´t believe, there is an end, see it,

Just to spite everybody

Stop, let the time stop, you say,

But life is not a game,

Even if you don´t believe, this end exists, see it,

Just to spite everybody

Let it hear you and turn back, you say,

But life is not a game,

You don´t have a remedy, see it,

Never wake just to spite years.

Group Manga was always better, that´s why they brought a present from MTV Music Presents

And a small note: Singer (top billing) of Kargo has been taking stage somewhere in USA, in a bar or something like that.

Strange - looks to me like they are playing concerts in Istanbul next month with a new singer - but maybe my Turkish isn´t good enough to understand it properly.

I love Kargo - but in my opinion Gripin are better!

Taken from kargoonline.com:

Açıklama: Koray Candemir ve Serkan Çeliköz fikir ve vizyon farklılıkları nedeniyle Kargo Grubu´ndan ayrıldıklarını ve ikili olarak yeni bir projede çalıştıklarını açıkladılar.

Explanation: Koray Candemir and Serkan Çeliköz have explanied that they left the group Kargo because of idea and vision differences and that they have been working for an ew project.

And in second explanation, it talks about a new member of group. A short while ago, we heard that Kargo has dispersed and will not sign a new album; because the top billing of group had moved to US.

thx

So the rest of the band are not playing concerts in Istanbul next week then?  You are saying Kargo don´t exist without Koray and Serkan?

At first step, answer was yes. But group Kargo decided to go on with its new members and they will tkae stage with the new member of group.

For a while, we didn´t see them around. They didn´t organize any concerts or didn´t attend any talk-shows.

Maybe they have renewed themselves.

Let me clarify this a little bit :

Koray Candemir (lead singer) and Serkan Celikoz (keyboards) has left Kargo and now have their own band called "Maskott". They are in USA, recording and giving concerts. They have released a single called "Tuval". They plan to start the Turkey concerts at February 2010.

Kargo first found a new lead singer for themselves but currently they are working with Mirkelam (a Turkish pop singer) on a joint album project. The album is called Rock´n Roll Disco Party and will be released January 2010. They have started the concerts for that album and that´s what you can see on their website.
