I don´t know if it should be posted here, or in the travel threads, but oh well...

I was wondering if there are any interesting dates in the coming month (January, perhaps beginning of February) in Turkey. Festivals, holidays, just great fun stuff... I´m feeling the itch again and I don´t know how long I can control myself, I think I´ll have to go to Turkey soon! But I want to plan a trip around some special event or special day.

Anything will do. For example, the other day there was a camel wrestling festival in Kusadasi. Would have loved to experience that for once.

Be patient, it is a pdf file and takes a while to download....there are 93 pages, so you should find something interesting to do and see.

Argh... see how empty january en february is in the general schedule? And I don´t want to step on any toes...I know they originally came from Turkey... but I´m not going to Turkey to see tulips We have loads of the in Holland in April, at the Keukenhof.

The Istanbul booklet is very big, but handy, thank you! Now if only I could have something like this with more towns in it...

And yes, I try to come up with an interesting title Made you look, didn´t I?!
