Tomorrow I'll start my first Turkish lesson in evening school! I studied a bit of Turkish in the first months of this year, before going to Turkey for two weeks. My little knowledge helped me so much when I was there, and I also liked studying the language. But sometimes I lack a bit of discipline to study everything by myself. That's why I signed up for a Turkish course at school.
You guys will definitely see me more here again, because I'm sure I'll need some help

Wish me luck!

Elisa

Evet! Of course we will help you and wish you luck. We all have the same desire to learn.

Aren't the people for whom English is a second language, the most wonderful of all? They are here learning Turkish and because English is the language of this site they are using/improving/learning English at the same time. Bravo all my class mates who are doing this.

Good Luck with your classes and welcome to our community, we look forward to hearing how you are getting on with your lessons and to helping you when you need it. You will also be able to help other people and share your views with us in the discussion forums.

Oh, I think I recognize someone familiar in Lyndie's post. Thanks, Lyndie, for making me feel so wonderful. What I can say is – it's easy with help of such wanderful friends
Congratulations, Elisa! You did what most of us would like to do - signed up at school for a Turkish course.
Of course we wish you lots of luck and promise any help and support you need.

Just wanted to say Hi again, because I haven't been here for a while since I have moved and had to wait a couple of weeks to have and internet connection again, the waiting made me crazy!!
But now I am all settled again, and happy with it
I've also been following Turkish lessons in school every Monday since the beginning of September, and I'm very happy with that as well. I feel like I've learned a lot already (unfortuntely not enough to write this post in Turkish, but that will come some day..)
The thing that I find the most difficult is finding the chance to speak it. This afternoon I will do my shopping in the Turkish area close to where I live, so that's already something. And I see that pronunciation exercises have been added to this site, so that is something to try definitely. This site rules!!

See you all soon again
Iyi hafta sonu dilerim
