I have discovered this TV series called Makber, and it looks rather nice.

I am using TV shows and series to listen and get to learn the actual speed and pronunciation of Turkish and I find this enjoyable.

This TV series looks nice, but I haven´t got a clue who is who, what´s the basic story, how the drama I saw (there is someone with cancer, os something of the sort) for this week´s episode all came about.

Can anyone help me understand the background information and what the action is in this series?
