Hello everyone!
I would like to ask for your opinions:
As you may know, I am Turkish. I invited friends for dinner tomorrow, who are from Serbia, Germany and Ecuador (so we have a mixed population ) . I don´t know what to cook so I need ideas something(s) that everyone will like (well, actually most Turkish foods are loved but anyway , and could be counted as traditional Turkish. Since most of you are foreigners who are some how related Turkish culture I think you are the right people to ask
p.s.: don´t advise too difficult things like sarma; I am just a student Actually I have good culinary skills but I don´t have too much time.

What i saw in the house i worked for 3 years in Ankara ( they were mudur both) they used to make this for dinner : meze the bought from Carrefour...olives..borek, american salatasi.. sometimes also ansoa.. acilik...you can buy them. Then made at owen or fish..or chicken...if was warm made mangal with that meat on the stick... as garniture you can chose. Wine and sweets. Its not big deal. Most of the food you buy it. Just the meat you make it home.

Loads of Turkish dishes I like but I have no idea if they´re difficult to make. Suggestions? Sigara böreği, Adana kebab, Işkender kebab, Ezogelin çorba, lahmacun and several delicious desserts as künefe, kadayıf or Kemal paşa tatlısı. There is also a dessert made of pumpkin but I forgot the name.

hmmmm thanks
ok just suggest things, I will skip anyway if it is too difficult
İskender kebap is something we never make at home... Also lahmacun almost never...
I am planning to make some börek, maybe sigara böreği, or some muska böreği... I think everyone likes them
Ezogelin or mercimek soups are also fine, right?
The desert from pumpkin is called kabak tatlısı by the way. mmm I love it

Yessss
I think wine would be fine, and there are no kids around so no need for juice
I think rakı might be too heavy for them ( I cannot also drink it )
Do you like Ayran?
Should I make some?
