Hi to all,

I know this is a bit ´off topic´, but I have to ask you! I love to listen to Uygur songsm and there is a couple of them I really really like.

But I can´t find lyrics, translations... nothing... nor anyone who could help me with it. The best thing would be to meet some Uygur people, I´d really love that!

For the beginning, I will ask you for these two songs:

Anargul bala

and

Adargul

Now, I am not sure, but those are two different songs and they are just AMAZING!!!

Any help is appreciated!!!!

Thanks in advance,

from Bosnia

Bu yurtta  nimesi bar, way Adargül

Atamga nime dep yighlay way Adargül

Anamga nime dep yighlay way Adargül

Etemning aldidin ashqan dadey way Adargül

Samandek sar sarghiyip yighlay

Etemning aldidin ashqan dadey way Adargül

Samandek sar sarghiyip yighlay

The rubbit which is hunted by the hawk , oh Adargül,

has a nest in the forest, girl Adargül,

hast a nest in the forest, girl Adargül.

The poor guest, oh Adargül,

what does he has in the city?

The poor guest, oh Adargül,

what does he has in the city?

What do i say to my dad and cry, oh Adargül?

What do  i say to my mum and cry, oh Adargül?

What do  i say to my mum and cry, oh Adargül?

My tomorrow has passed ahead of the time, oh Adargül,

I will cry and turn yellow as straw ( turning yellow : being sorry)

My tomorrow has passed ahead of the time, oh Adargül,

I will cry and turn yellow as straw ( turning yellow : being sorry)

these are Adargül lyrics

the translation is

The rabbit hunted by the hawk
Has its home in the forest (? janggal = forest according to uyghurdic)
A strange traveller like us
What does he have in this place?

What will I cry to my mother?
What will I cry to my father?
I cry like the yellowed
straw before my horse.

Does the rabbit have a father?
Does the rabbit have a mother?
What does he have in this place,
The one whose luck ran out like us?

Ask Umut to help more about translation because he knows Uyghur language very well

Do not throw us away my love

Do not throw us away my love

Do you have water in the canal child
