the next available one is not until next Monday. We had already packed our bags etc. so now we have to carry on as normal ´til next week. We miss out on 2 nights in Antalya and will have to go straight to Kemer where we were booked in for 6 nights and will now only get 2 before we move on again.

News is that airspace will be opening tomorrow afternoon.

Soooooooo annoying!

We are due to fly out in six days time but now that seems unlikely. Ironically one of the flights permitted out of Glasgow today is going to Reykjavik.

All flights in and out of British airspace have been cancelled for an indefinite period because of a cloud of ash from a volcano which erupted on Thursday in Iceland. Reports keep changing on when normal services will be resumed but we´re due to fly to Istanbul on Tuesday morning.

Will we make it? Fingers crossed and watch this space!

We have re-booked our flights for next Monday which was the first one available so we miss a week in Turkey. Hope it´s okay then. Thanks for asking.

I hope you will make it next Monday. but if you dont will they return your money?

We´ll be able to re-book without charge or get a refund. We have hotels booked in several different places for the next 4 weeks and as long as we don´t get there we will lose the money already paid.
