What do you think?

I feel that Turkish music is slowly gaining recognition in Europe and Eurovision is one of the important channels. A few decades ago only a few Turkish musicians were known internationally. After the advent of the Internet and youtube this number has increased dramatically.

I like it! I like the fact that there´s no naked women running around in this video, although sadly that means that there´s no women at all (ok, one!).

But other then a Turkish band sings this song.. how is this song reflecting Turkish music?

I hate eurovision, it´s become a ridiculous industry in which all the songs sound almost teh same - where´s the cultural experience?! Nobody sings in their languages any more. It also seems like there´s a lot of politics in selecting the winners..

Not reflecting, but many countries do the same. I think its a trend.

In my opinion TR will get the position at best 8th at worst 9th. {#emotions_dlg.lol_fast}

As a matter of fact, for a Turkish listener it is day clear that this song is like a showcase of the little inventions that have been made especially in the anatolian rock genre over decades. Manga has skillfully put all this material in their song. There are moments where a couple of notes taste like Mogollar. There are also elements imported from Classical Turkish Music.  Regardless of the wrapping, this is a very Turkish sounding group.

Holland has typical folk Dutch song this year... I wish we wouldn´t reflect our own music that much in the song-festival

Anyway, I like the Turkish song, but I don´t think it will win. I think some kind of crazy act with costume changes and complicated dances will win, or some kind of celine dion-style power balad.
