Turkish visa for Greek Islands

How difficult is it for Turkish people to get a visa for Greece if they want to visit the Greek Islands that are on the Aegean Coast?

There are some greek islands very close to turkey, such as Kos, Samos and Rhodos.

I wonder if Turkish people don't often visit these if they go on holiday. I would like to take Kadir there for a boat trip and stuff, but the whole surprise would be gone if he needs to go through all the visa trouble first, right?

Is there a difference for visas for each specific island, or does a visa count for all of Greece? (my greatest desires are to see Istanbul and Athens with him )

I think that is allowed for Turkish to visit just the islands without visa for a few days during the summer. Unfortunatelly it is not possible for a Turkish to visit Athens without a visa. Us, silly greeks, you see!

Im sorry i don't understand it

I don't need a visa for Greece, so why would i buy one when i land at Istanbul? Or is this for Turkish people?

Secondly, this is how i understood it, please correct whre i am wrong: Kadir needs a valid passport and 50$ to buy a visa in Istanbul, and then he has three days access to a Greek island in the Aegean coast?

Oh and i was born in 1987, not in 2001

Yes well, we dont have the money to go to Athens any time soon anyway, but still..

I think Holland will become my holiday-county, quite funny

I'm also interested in how it is wht the visa. I know that foreign turist have to buy visa on a turkish airport and prices are different for different countries (eg. for Poland it's 15$ or 10€ for visa valid for a month)

But how is it with Turks?
I'm going to go to Izmir and Aydin and who knows, if it would be possible we could visit Greek island with Taylan..

Hehe when will you be in Izmir?

Yeah. Dutch passport holders have to pay 10 euros at the Turkish airport and the tourist-visa they receive for it is valid for 3 months. My student-visa will be valid for about 9 months and will cost 50€.

But I don't know how it is for Turks and i would really like to know.

I just called the Union of Greek Offices of Entering Tourism and they informed me that a visa is required for Turks who want to visit the greek islands. The same visa (for Schenker countries) that is required for any other place in Greece
