Kalirsa bir soru- Ahmet ERHAN

 Kalirsa bir soru kalir benden

 Yaniti var midir bilmem

 Denizine, gögüne, topragina

 Uçanina, kaçanina bu dünyanin

 Kalirsa bir soru kalir benden

 Ölüm gelir, gün aksama kavusurken

 Kalirsa bir soru kalir benden

 Yaniti var midir bilmem

 Yazar elim upuzun bir siir

 Söyler dilim içli bir türkü

 Kalirsa bir soru kalir benden

 Gökte yildizdir o, toprakta gömü

 Kalirsa bir soru kalir benden

Bir de üç bes siir, iyi kötü

===============

If anything remains

If anything remains after me, it will only be a question

I  dont even know if it has an answer

If anything remains after me, it will only be a question

To the seas, to the skies, to the soil

To  everybody of this world

And  death comes when the day gives in to the night

If anything remains after me, it will only be a question

I  dont even know if it has an answer

My hand writes a long poem

My tongue sings a soulful folk song

If anything remains after me, it will only be a question

And It is a star in the sky, a burial in the soil.

If anything remains after me, it will only be a question

In addition, good or bad  a few poems.

Just to give a different perspective to a few users who are interested in Turkish poetry.

A Question would remain from me
if anything should
I don´t know if it has an answer
A question that goes to the sea, to the sky
to those that fly and to those that roam its terrain
Death rushes in as the day embraces the dusk

A question would remain from me
if anything should
I don´t know if it has an answer
My hand writes a poem so long
My mouth sings a touching song
A question would remain from me
if anything should
A star in the sky, a burial in the ground

A question would remain from me
if anything should
and a few poems good or bad.
