The financial volume of the wedding business in Turky is estimated at 6.5 billins per year.
According to CNBC-e Business magazine about 650000 couples (120000 in Istanbul) get wed per year. The favourite places for weddings are wedding halls. InIstanbul there are about 1100 wedding halls compared to 450 of ten years ago.

Also the number of those who want to get wed in a foreign country is rising. The popular countries are Egypt, Tunusia and India for Turkish wedding abroad.
