Hello, basketball fans!

"In a lavish and emotional Opening Ceremony, EuroBasket 2005 officially opened Thursday night at the posh Kalemegdan Fortress in Belgrade, Serbia Montenegro in the presence of many dignitaries and celebrities."

Turkey is one of 16 teams taking part in competition.

After your prediction of who would win Formula 1. It might pay to put a bet on Russia; as I will have to find out in our betting shop here if they are taking bets on it.

I made wrong guess about Russia..I was hoping that they could win but Greece beaten them..sorry Ivy..I hope you didnt play bet
