Can you see anything from the world?

Your senses are unable to see imperfection,

unable to attest blame

in this way,

before you remove your fingers from your eyes

People consist of sight, actually the rest is a corpse

Only thoose seeing a lover have true sight.

Thank you for the Rumi lines.  I remember going to see an exhibition about him (in 2007), held in the Hagia Sophia, İstanbul.  It was very interesting and so many interesting quotes from his work formed the basis of much of the display.  It made me want to read more about him.
