It has to Cappadocia!  The most amazing place I have ever been to, closely followed by Olu Deniz, and then Kackar Mountains.  Istanbul for me is not a holiday destination but a long weekend destination.  I have a desire to go to Saffronbolu, not sure why but I will get there one day.

ISTANBUL....Since the first time I set foot in this city, I was in love.  It is Istanbul´s history that keeps me going back (and the food, shopping, people...did I mention the food?).  Of course I love the beautiful beaches and the fabulous countryside, but nowhere has my heart like Istanbul.

I agree, nothing compares to Istanbul; I have stayed there 3 times, 1 week every time, only in the spring - february - april..Istanbul is fabulous..is a dream

..and Beldibi - Kemer, of course; sea and mountain together, at the same place

Altınoluk forever...

The ones who can watch NTV can realize why i like Altınoluk that much. Please check the programme called "Tuncel ve Dostları" (Tuncel and his Mates)

Interesting to see how this is very personal. I saw Kemer in somebody´s list. For me it was actually pretty boring. Sure, the whole mountain and sea thing is nice. Especially during a good winter. You can lay on the beach in the sun, and look at the snowy mountain top at the same time. I liked that for about 1 day, and after that I was bored to death. There are too many giant hotels there for my taste. It´s a bit like "It´s a small world" in Disneyland, but bigger! With a Dutch hotel, shaped like the central station in Amsterdam, and a windmill... There´s the Russian hotel, Norwegian hotel... It´s very odd
