A new Internet craze called ´planking,´ in which a person lays face-down with arms at their sides in unusual places and has their photograph taken, has hit Istanbul

Lying face-down on inanimate objects may not be the most glamorous pose, but it gets a lot of attention on the Internet, both good and bad.

It´s a new Internet craze called “planking,” where a person lays face-down with their arms at their sides in an unusual place and is photographed

But planking is catching heat, too, as some people take it to the extreme, planking in dangerous locations.

Now some Turkish youths have planked for attention at Haydarpaşa railroad terminal, which was damaged in a fire in 2010, and Haydarpaşa railroad.

oh well what ever gives them a thrill...  before the advent of the internet we probably did stupid things also, I am sure if we dig trough old photographs taken when we were younger there might be some stupid stunt we pulled and was photographed
