I am flying to Istanbul S. Gokcen in December (not sure exactly when yet). I want to then get flight down to Fethiye. Does anyone know of a good Pension, local to this airport, to stay a night or two

Fethiye has no airport, nearest airport is Dalaman (http://www.atmairport.aero/Dalaman_en/ulasim.php). Distance is 70 Km (43 Mi) between them. You can check the flight from www.flypgs.com or www.thy.com or www.anadolujet.com, you can also check www.booking.com for hotels in there.

Different question regarding S. Gokcen airport: is there a main bus station nearby that services most locations? I usually fly into İstanbul, and go to the otogar for a VIB bus to Adapazarı but if I can get a cheaper flight to S. Gokcen and a bus from there it may be a better option. Thanks in advance

at the airport there are taxis and there is a Dolmus terminal not far from the airport.

if memory serves me right the Dolmus fair from Dalaman to Fethiye is about 5 Liras and the taxi faire is 50 or 75 liras from Dalaman to Fethiye

You can go to Adapazarı (or Sakarya) directly with akmis seyahat which shuttle service from sabiha gökcen airport to Adapazarı. You can reach them from here; http://www.akmisseyahat.com/ but their page only Turkish.
