She is GORGEOUS!!!
Not her dance only. Her face, her hair, her body...just gorgeous!
Does she have a brother?

Yes, I think so too. She's so beautiful, she's a romany turk. She has a sister, but don't know about brother

hey vonny,

i know of some bellydance workshop festivals that will be held in turkey in september 2006.

1) 3rd Annual FESTIVAL ALATURKA!
Dance and Music Festival in Istanbul September 2nd - 10th 2006

http://www.folktours.com/camptur.html

2) Oriental Camp in Istanbul September 12th - 21st 2006

http://www.orientalcamp.com/indexi.htm

3) there is also a music and dance centre near bodrum that offers classes all year round

http://www.turkishbellydance.net/

i unfortunately can't make the first 2 in september this year, but i'm hoping to make it to the ones next year if they hold them again.

otherwise, it will be option 3).

another option is to pick a professional turkish bellydancer and email them to see if they will be in istanbul (or wherever) when u think u will be there.

u can try asena, tanyeli, sena yildiz, princess banu.

Hey gezbelle,

Thanks. You know what, actually I was suppose to take workshops with Sema Yildiz this week in Singapore! But it got cancelled due to some reasons. I already paid for the workshops.

So the organiser replaced Sema Yildiz with Seda Jurin (the sister of Tanyeli) to teach us instead. Seda Jurin is Turkish of course but based in Sydney. But the girls were disappointed during class because we all expected Sema Yildiz But she was not here.

Hey i am looking forward to chat with you on msn.

Why? Do Turish people like to show their bellys??? lol

The turkish women are always ready to stand and start to do belly dance. All of them (fat or old) think themselves as a belly dancer. Who is Shakira? There´re thousands of them here (and I like to do it as well )

Why yes I understand with much clarity the point you are trying to get

across and I agree. Many of thousands of girls belly-dance, and many

are the best that are from Turkey why of course, in my opinion.

Personally I used to bd a lot. As of last week I started doing the Flamenco/BD/Shimmy routine I made up and it was fun and I was still okay/good at it,

though it´s feels worng somehow, to do...it makes me feel less responsible

to dance like the Turkish women, and so I just go for walks and let this life

pass me by now {#emotions_dlg.koffie}

Drat, I was wanting to watch this and found it´s no longer on youtube.

I found these rather amusing videos Aşuk ile Maşuk and then this....and here is a Flamenco Romany version...at a Romany wedding.

Then there is Zadiel a Zenne dancer...........
