Hi

Maybe someone can help.

I am going to Turkey soon and am going to be raising some money for a local charity

F.I.G. Fethiye International Group. They sell books and clothes etc in aid of local schools, especially poorer schools up the mountains. The money goes to help poorer people get uniforms and books etc for the children.

I thought I would do some busking. What I thought of doing is making what looked like a big thermometer, with 10TL graduations on it, with a target of 50TL a day. This would be filled with 1 TL pieces. The trouble is I havn´t got any here in England. Could someone measure the diameter of a 1 TL coin so that I can get the right size clear plastic tube. Also if you are able, please measure the height of 10 TL from the bottom to the top of the heighest one, so that I get the 10 TL graduations right. I think this will be more accurate than just measuring the thickness of one and multiplying it by ten.

Thanks in advance.
